This is one of the first artworks I completed during the Covid-19 quarantine when we were all staying home and feverishly shopping for hand sanitizer and toilet paper.
It was a trying and scary time, and my walking path where I went almost daily to let the world wash over me and the stresses of the day melt away was off limits to walkers. When it reopened it was immediately flooded with locals who were anxious to be outside. Now there are more walkers than ever, and it just doesn’t feel as peaceful or safe anymore.
