What is a  Giclée?  The word Giclée is neologism coined in 1991 for fine art digital prints made on high-end inkjet printers using archival pigment inks. Derived from the French word for spray, the term Giclée refers to the technical manner in which the ink jets spray pigmented inks onto specialized coated archival substrates.
Giclée prints are also called archival pigment prints.
